The main branch is the master branch which contains production code, and the second branch is where modifications will be executed, or new features will be implemented. In our tutorial for simplicity, let’s consider that there are two branches, the master branch and the feature branch known as feature-1. Therefore, the goal is not to make the modifications directly on this branch but to make them on other branches, and after various tests, integrate them on the master branch. It is on these branches that all the magic of GIT rests! The master branch will carry all the modifications made. The main advantage of git is its branching system. In this tutorial article, we will discuss different approaches to merge the git feature branch to master. This feature improves the development process workflow for multiple projects by encouraging more specific, smaller, and granular tasks. Git allows users to create a new branch and merge them into development code. One of the most powerful features of git is the branch creation and merge operation. Best Way to Merge a Git Branch Into Master.Merging Branches Without Fast Forward in Git.Fast Forwarding While Merging Branches in Git.Merge a Remote Branch to a Local Branch in Git.Clone a Repo or a Branch With SSH Key in Git.Clone a Remote Repository With Submodules in Git.Add Files Into Staging by Git in Different Ways. The -D option is a shortcut for -delete -force, which deletes the branch irrespective of its merged status. NOTE: The -d option only deletes the branch if it has already been merged. To delete a local branch, run either of these commands:.git push origin -delete my-branch-name.To delete a remote branch, run this command:.Refer to Handling Merge Conflicts (the next exercise) to learn what to do. NOTE: When you merge, there may be a conflict. Now you can merge another branch into the current branch.NOTE: Replace master with another branch name as needed. If you're not already on the desired branch, run this command: First, you must check out the branch that you want to merge another branch into (changes will be merged into this branch). You'll want to make sure your working tree is clean and see what branch you're on.If your local branch already exists on the remote, run this command:.This saves you from having to type out the exact name of the branch! NOTE: HEAD is a reference to the top of the current branch, so it's an easy way to push to a branch of the same name on the remote. If your local branch does not exist on the remote, run either of these commands:.git checkout -track origin/my-branch-name.Run this command to switch to the branch:.To get a list of all branches from the remote, run this command:.Switch to a Branch That Came From a Remote Repo You're now ready to commit to this branch.Run this command (replacing my-branch-name with whatever name you want):.To see all local and remote branches, run this command:.To see remote branches, run this command:.To see local branches, run this command:.NOTE: The current local branch will be marked with an asterisk (*). The commands below assume you've navigated to the folder for the Git repo. When you're done, you merge the new feature branch into the master branch, and both the new feature and rush change are kept! For All the Commands Below Then you can switch back to your new feature branch and finish your work. You switch back to the master branch, make the change, and push it live. You haven't finished your new feature, but you get a request to make a rush change that needs to go live on the site today. You create a new branch and start working. Let's say you need to work on a new feature for a website. Here's an example of how Git branches are useful. This lets you more easily work with other developers, and gives you a lot of flexibility in your workflow. Git lets you branch out from the original code base.

You might also be interested to learn how to authenticate using the tag. Just type the name of the tag you’re looking for under “Tag Search.” (If you’re on mobile visit that page and scroll down to locate the “tag search” widget! You can, however, use our vintage t-shirt and brand archive to search through our tag database. We have streamlined this guide to present some of the most commonly occurring brands in their various forms. There are just too many companies from these decades to display them all. Just because you don’t see a brand listed here, that doesn’t mean the item in question isn’t vintage. How do I know if a t-shirt tag is vintage? Woven tags started to become even more common. In this era, there was a trend back toward 100% cotton. Some of these companies didn’t actually manufacture t-shirts so they had their labels sewn into other blanks produced by FOTL and Hanes. Music and concert merchandising became an even bigger business and had dedicated licensing brands like Brockum, Giant, Wild Oats, Gem, and even Liquid Blue. Some companies merged together – for example, Screen Stars would slowly morph into “Best” by Fruit of the Loom. While many new big-name players emerged in the 1990s, just as many faded away. We also begin to see music-specific tags that originated in the 1970s, gaining momentum, like Winterland. Specialty brands like 3D Emblem also rose to huge popularity in the 1980s. Labels such as Logo 7, Artex, and Trench made many of the best t-shirts, jerseys, and sweatshirts featuring popular athletic names, teams, and styles in the 1980s. Some brands were produced in Pakistan, others began following Champion and manufactured tees for sports-related purposes. The branding became more obvious and the tags often had two color designs. Each of these vintage brands went through different phases of label designs which can easily be linked to a particular period. Brands such as Screen Stars, Hanes, Anvil, and Sportswear were some of the most widely manufactured t-shirts. Some focused on producing a variety of colors, while others specialized in making different styles of shirts, including ringers and jerseys. Many popular brands emerged in the 1980s. These tags will often be blank or frayed as a result of wear, wash, and age. Sometimes tags didn’t have a link to a specific company aside from an RN number. If a 1970s tag features branding it was more often a simple design and one color. But it was also an era of plain, generic tags. Hanes, Healthknit, Champion, Sportswear, Russell, and FOTL were among the mainstream brands with recognizable tags. If you have an urgent or time sensitive question, please contact our customer service team. It wasn’t until the late 1970s that 50/50 tees became the norm. Toni again drops by the cathedral and is greeted by Ned Burner, who is posing as the local reverend. I'm sure a mod that increases traffic would remedy that. Karmageddon is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories given to protagonist Toni Cipriani by Liberty Tree news reporter Ned Burner from the Liberty City Cathedral in the Bedford Point district of Staunton Island, Liberty City. Personally, I prefered GTA IV (mainly the DLCs) to GTA V. Not really an issue on my end, but cars are less packed in on the street here than they were in IV, which means this is considerably less fun. Played the hell out all GTA games except 2, but 3 and 5 are the best Author has. You probably won't notice anyway, and I probably won't fix it (because I'm a lazy asshole). I don't think I saw any motorcycles affected, which would be in line with how it was in GTAIV.Ĭars may deform more than usual, I might have used my personally modified ta for this. bahaha this mod reminded me of 'Fatboy Slim - Push The Tempo' video XDXD. Seems to only be DLC cars that I haven't touched because I'm a lazy asshole, but I might have missed one or two in the base game. Gipphes Carmaggedon Mod comes to Grand Theft Auto V. Using OpenIV, take ta and override the original located in GTA V > update > update.rpf > common > data Sometimes the front wheels fall off which leads to half-hearted doughnuts, such as in the screenshot. He is not the scion of some wealthy industrialist, who grew up in the shade of a single private club. On court, wearing his trademark red bandana, Power calls to mind the young Christopher Walken in the Russian-roulette scene in The Deer Hunter, where Walken sits zombified in the Saigon gambling den with a gun to his own head, somehow absolutely certain the bullet has the other guy’s name on it. He is quite a big man – six feet, 175 – and he seems, eerily, to get bigger the moment he steps on a squash court, the way some actors look bigger on stage. Jonathan Power defeats all the stereotypes so completely you’d be tempted to conclude he was dropped into the game by some lesser god just to shake it up, the way John McEnroe landed in tennis in the seventies like a hound on the kitchen table. Deferential to their coaches – for squash is almost a tradesman’s pursuit, best learned at the hip of an experienced mentor who can groove you in. Supremely fit – for squash is a game of heavy aerobic demands. (“Let.” “No let.” “Appeal.” “Sustained.”) High focused – for squash, which has been likened to speed chess, is a game of infinite combinations and angles and moves and countermoves and perpetual calculation of risk. Gentlemanly – for squash’s British traditions stress fair play, and historically, exchanges between players and referees would not have sounded out of place in the Old Bailey. Small in stature – for squash is a punishing game, and only lightweights can withstand the pounding on the joints over time. The model is probably someone very like the current world number on, Peter Nicol of Scotland. People who actually play squash (a fairly small number), or watch it (an even smaller number), have a model in their mind of how top squash players look and act, what they stand for and where they live. Or just dorks who spend the summers of their youth bouncing balls off the garage and never outgrew the fascination. WHEN most people think of squash – if they think of it at all – it’s as a pastime enjoyed by toffee-nosed Ivy League seniors, captains of industry, TV psychiatrists. The rep for the company happened to be in the stands watching, and the net morning, he called to say he would not be doing business with Jonathon Power, like, ever. There had almost been a racquet agreement, but that fell through after Power left the court audibly slagging the racquet that had let him down. McDonald’s had approached him about doing some promotions, but no deals had been finished. What kind of sponsorship deals did he have, Carter wanted to know. He’d plied his trade in sixty countries, logging hundreds of thousands of air miles, but had never bothered to get on a frequent-flyer program. Like those eccentric math geniuses who tackle complex theorems all day but have trouble boiling an egg, Power did one thing awesomely well but was almost comically deficient in the routine demands of a professional life. “Here was a kid who had had no real advisers for his whole career, and the guy is number three in the world, and prior to six weeks ago he’d beaten the number one six times in a row,” observed Carter. When he walked into the office of Graham Carter, a top Toronto money manager, a year ago, Power projected an oddly contradictory image: the worldly naïf. Or at least not any other elite professional athlete. Four years later, Power became the first North American ever to beat the long-reigning Khan, and created the tantalizing possibility that he might one day tame his demons and become world champion.īut mostly the story circulates because it captures Jonathon Power in amber. Team members today tell that story with bemusement, partly because they know how things turned out. A few feet away, limbering up on the mat, the world champion, Jansher Khan of Pakistan, watched this little bit of vaudeville. A cigarette pack fell out of one jacket pocket and a lighter fell out of the other. Power bent over to try to touch his toes. “What do you want me to do?” he asked Turk. He stood, heavy-lidded, in a tearaway basketball tracksuit. Power was there in body but his head was far, far away. Coach Gene Turk tracked Power down at his hotel, where he was still sleeping, and brought him to the stretching area, where other players were warming up. But when the team bus arrived at the courts, Jonathon Power, the nineteen-year-old prodigy from Toronto, wasn’t on it. In November of 1993, at the world team squash championships in Karachi, Pakistan, Canada drew Scotland in the first playoff round. Can squash have an enfant terrible? Oh yeah. To that end, MacWeed is offering 14 programs worth over $700 for $49.99, although 8 of the 14 will be unlocked only after a certain number of bundles have been sold. MacWeed’s twist on the bundle approach is to donate 20 percent of the proceeds from their bundle sales to the Italian Red Cross, specifically to help the victims of the April 2009 earthquake in the Abruzzo region of Italy, which rendered 66,000 people homeless and damaged many medieval buildings in the town of L’Aquila. The applications include Flux, Scribbles, Interarchy, Iris, WriteRoom, REALbasic Personal, HoudahSpot, Stuf, TaskPaper, and MarinerCalc. From what I can tell, the bundle is entirely straightforward, with no gimmicks other than a funky Web site design that attempts to mimic the iPhone home screen, though not entirely successfully. TheMacSale has put together a $49.99 collection of 10 applications worth $450. (Occasionally, we’ll have a separate advertising relationship with the bundle vendor.) That said, there are two new bundle groups that have popped up in the last week or so: TheMacSale and MacWeed. Sure, the bundle may benefit deserving independent developers, donate a portion of the proceeds to charity, or be part of some sort of online game, along with offering a great deal for Mac users, but the news value of even most new bundles is fairly low. We generally report on Mac software bundles only from entirely new groups, since by definition, these bundles are pure marketing efforts.
The fade is the more controlled form of a slice which is when the ball wildly veers off to the right when hit. The club will make contact with the ball slightly below the ball's equator (looking down on it).Ī fade (for a right handed player), is the opposite of a draw when the ball curves slightly to the right when hit. The whole idea of "closing your stance" causes your swing to have a slight "in-to-out" swing path which is what causes the ball to curve to the left when hit. Go to the range and try playing around with how much you close your stance, this will determine how much the ball will draw. This means the face of your club will be pointed at the target. &bullClose the club-face slightly, relative to how you are standing. You will therefore feel as if you are aiming to the right of the target. This means that if you placed your club even with your feet, the club would be pointed slightly to the right of the target. &bullStand with a slightly closed stance. It is less severe, and more desirable than a hook which is when the golf ball sharply curves to the left (and often ends up in a pond or the woods). And a higher shot lands more vertically than a lower one, leading to a smaller amount of roll. How many times have you had a bunch of trees slightly blocking your ball's path to the pin? Wouldn't it have been nice to be able to fade or draw the shot accordingly? It will take a bit of time at the range but after a bit of practice, you will be confident in fading or drawing your shot.Ī draw (for a right handed player), is when the golf ball curves slightly to the left when hit. Indeed, opening the club relative to your stance and swing added a bit of loft to your club that produces a higher shot. These can be explained by the fact your setup position added effective loft to your club and shot. Generally speaking, a fade will tend to travel on a higher trajectory and will roll less upon landing. This swing will be of the outside-in variety and will produce a shot that spins from left to right.Ī Fade will Fly Higher and Will Roll Less Instead, swing along your feet and body and let your setup position dictate the flight the ball takes. Indeed, don’t try to correct this alignment by taking your club too far inside for an inside-out swing. Now that your feet and club are correctly positioned it’s time to start your swing.Īs you do make sure not to compensate for the fact that you are aimed left of the target. Swing Along your Feet for an Outside-In Swing Path This slight misalignment will produce a counter-clockwise spin that will take your ball from left to right. The setup you are looking for is one that sees your clubface closed to the target but open relative to your stance. Keep rotating until it is open enough that your clubface is now open to your stance. Instead, rotate your stance so that you open it relative to the target. Indeed, hitting a straight shot left would amount to a pull and would see the ball missing left of the target. Now that your clubface is pointing to the left slightly we want to make sure that your swing doesn’t produce a straight shot into that direction. Open your Stance, so Clubface is Open to Stance Indeed, in contrast to a straight shot a fade will see the ball starting left of the target and positioning your clubface aiming to the left will do the most to promote a ball that starts indeed left. You’ll want your clubface to be closed relative to the target, or in other words that it is aiming to the left of the target slightly. The first step while setting up for a fade is to position the club behind the ball correctly. *Note that the fade tips below do in fact account for the “ New Ball Flight Laws”Ĭlose your Clubface so it Aims Left of Target Slightly For the reverse ball flight, head over to our tips on how to hit a draw. Finally, some hole locations are better attacked with a ball that lands softly on the the green and rolls to the right slightly.įollow these steps in order to produce a fade. Otherwise, better players may choose to hit a fade in windy conditions, hoping to cancel out some of the wind’s effect on the ball flight. Other times, you may need to curl the ball around a tree or a hazard in order to improve your odds of hitting the target. Some golfers have a natural fade swing (outside-in) and do well to manage the situation rather than fight it. There are several situations where you would want to fade the ball instead of going for a straight shot. In contrast to a slice a fade is not considered a golf shot error because the ball lands on the target even though the ball flight was not straight. For right-handed players it means that the ball shoots left initially only to curl right while in the air and lands on target. In golf a fade is the name of the trajectory that sees the ball starting inside of the target line after impact but curling out and finishing at the target. The magic of her game, with her extraordinary sense of anticipation with both fundamentals played with two hands, that magic that allowed her to win – still a teenager – eight Grand Slam titles from 1990 to 1993 and to get to the top of the rankings, had disappeared. She had already came close to her ninth Grand Slam title in the final of the US Open played some months earlier and lost in the decisive set against Steffi Graf. Monica Seles had just won her ninth Slam, only few months later having got back to competitions, after the aggression suffered in the spring of ’93 in Hamburg and the forced stop of more than two years. The January of 1996, when in Melbourne it looked like the magic of her game had suddenly came back. But to fans, especially to Monica’s fans, what comes back to mind in this period of the year, even more than that match played in NY, is what happened in the January of some years later. It was the first women’s final that lasted five sets since the 1901 US Open final (that at the time were called US Championships) won by home player Elisabeth Moore. The exhibition in New York is a rematch of the one played between the two players 25 years ago in the same city: the WTA Championship final of 1990 that Seles won in 5 sets (6-4, 5-7, 3-6, 6-4, 6-2). On the occasion of the New York match, Ubitennis went to see where the career of the champion born in former Yugoslavia started, paying homage to an outstanding player that would have probably rewritten women’s tennis history, if fate hadn’t decided otherwise. Monica Seles is back on court : she played in the Madison Square Garden, in an exhibition against her great friend and former rival Gabriela Sabatini. Tabačka Kultfabrik Gorkého 2, 040 01 Košice-Staré Mesto, Slovensko What Tabačka Kultfabrik actually is? Tabačka filled the missing cultural space in Košice, and it gained deserved popularity among people of every age, from every part of Slovakia, and even neighbouring countries. A place for meeting people, sharing knowledge and realizing ideas." says the founder of Tabačka Kultfabrik, Peter Radkoff. One could ask, why Košice? " Our intention is to build a public space that is a cultural center for all. But for Košice, with its only 230 000 inhabitants, and very few active artists, it was something brand-new and unique. The concept of turning the abandoned buildings into clubs or galleries became super popular in former East Berlin, an artistic hotspot of Europe, and slowly moved to other post-communist countries. This hadn’t changed until 2009 when Tabačka was re-opened and turned into an independent cultural centre, and despite the reconstruction, Tabačka Kultfabrik still keeps its industrial features. Later it served as a school for a short period of time, but the space of 2 500 square meters ended up abandoned. Later on, the demand for tobacco decreased, since other factories were opened, and after some governmental changes, the factory finally closed its gates. People of Košice always knew this place as Tabačka because, in the 19th century, it used to be a tobacco factory. Photo © Credits to facebook/tabackafanpage The story of Tabačka Kultfabrik |
